What to pack for an ideal Christmas Holiday

Ho-ho-holiday season is here, everyone! For those of you who are eager to get away from the dullness of your house and try new adventures, be wary of your destination: if you don’t plan on going to Australia or some other exotic place where you’ll feel like you traveled back to summer, make sure to go prepared. Otherwise, your dream holiday will turn into a nightmare, and who would want to spend their Christmas thinking “I should’ve packed that”, “how could I forget to put that in the luggage” and so on?

Well, that’s what I’m here for, so buckle up for a short but entailing list of what items you definitely need to add to your holiday travel bag before leaving.

Enough pairs of socks

There’s nothing worse than being on a trip and realizing you haven’t packed enough socks, so you have to wear an old pair again. Well, maybe the only worse thing is to not pack socks at all, but I hope that’s never the case.    Anyhow, always remember to check how the weather is like during your stay there. Pack a pair of warm socks, just in case, and make sure to try them on before so you know they’re still as comfortable as you remember them. And take that funky Christmas pair with you too, who knows, maybe you’ll need to blend in at a stranger’s Christmas party!

Sweaters

One reason why I like the cold season rather than the hot ones is that when it’s really hot, you can’t do anything about it, but in the winter, you can just start layering and getting cozy on your couch et voila, your cold problem is over! That’s exactly why it is mandatory to pack a sweater with you. But if you’re anything like me and are tired of everything that’s in your closet, I have just the tip. Instead of packing the ugly Christmas sweater your distant family member got you three years ago, I suggest you refresh your wardrobe with the piece of art that is the Irish sweater you can see here. Comfortable regardless of the season, this garment is woven out of the famous Merino wool, a material that is warm, cozy, and incredibly easy to wash. Since it’s a very simple and elegant top, the Irish sweater will prove to be a very fine addition and will certainly be your new favorite piece of clothing!

Medicine

Now that we’re all covered with the clothing essentials, let’s talk about something more important. Wherever you are around this world, you need to hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. Always make sure you get a bunch of medicine, bandages, medicinal alcohol and such. Hopefully, you’ll never need to use them, but emergencies can happen anytime, so you need to be ready to handle them efficiently. It’s not much, but it’s the last and probably one of the most essential items you need wherever you go. With that being said, have a nice vacation, and happy holidays!
